Freshman Eddie Lilly, white team member, was one of 10 members to win the morning competition of the Hamilton Lip Sync Battle. The drama department hosted 300 8th graders from Ramona to give them a history lesson on founding father Alexander Hamilton with their first ever lip sync battle. A handful of students from the team commented on their excitement, This was a team effort and its great to see that hard work pays off.

A student anonymously comments, Its disappointing to see that our president elect makes such remarks, its one thing stating your opinion, but race should have nothing to do with his comment. Mr. Trump is set to take office January 20.

Oxford had been turned down to stay open for the upcoming school year unless approved by the state. The board secretary of OPA even pleaded, Im here to ask, no beg, for mercy. Many of people are being effected by this decision; CVUSD has plans to transfer all students to different schools.
