A variety of music preferences can be found at Don Lugo ranging from today’s hits, punk, or rap. Everyone has their own personal favorite genres.

When the Lugo student body was asked “What type of music genre do you prefer to listen too?” The categories included the basic genres of music: Pop, Punk, Rap/Hip hop, and Rock. The majority listened to either Rap/Hip Hop or Rock, but ultimately one answer was constantly repeated.

Everyone single one of our interviewees told us that they listen to and enjoy more than just one genre. We found that a common genre that most of the students listened to was either rock or punk. Apparently everyone’s got a little rock in them, whether it’s alternative, classic, or punk rock.

Rock music is definitely heavy inflected on our campus. Could it be that head banging music, appeals to everyone in some sort of way?
