The special ceremony was accompanied by Brandi Lanai & Quest News Alumni.

Don Lugo’s journalism class, Quest News, hosts their first podcast ever. Moments before the podcast, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to introduce the official pod-casting station. On March 4th, the reporters proudly presented their podcast titled, “The Needle”, with hosts Johnny Palavecino and Christopher Morales.

Brandi Lanai, radio host of, “Morning Friends Bryan & Brandi”, upheld the honor to cut the ribbon, thus opening up the pod-casting station. Lanai had the pod-casting team conduct their first show right after the ribbon cutting ceremony, introducing a new and fun way to receive news. A Don Lugo student expresses, “I think it’s unique Quest News is exploring a new range to announce news.”

The Quest News class of 2017 was honored to have old alumni witness the start of a great advancement for years to come. This year’s news team received a grant with enough money to buy microphones, equipment, and soundproof walls. The first podcast and all future podcasts will be located on iCloud for all listeners.
