This is definitely showing in their growing pay checks, being that Hip Hop artists are currently one of the highest paid musicians in the industry.

Three of 2015’s most streamed songs have also been rap including hit singles from Fetty Wap, Wiz Khalifa, and Drake.  The movement also has paved the way for people to experiment more with the genre like the creation of the movie “Straight Outta Compton, ” which made millions the very first night it premiered.
