Heavy rainy season causes the California drought to wane away

Don Lugo students have been witnessing extreme amounts of rain the past few weeks, and to some, it is a welcome sight. Many students believe that the recurring rainstorms have been well-needed to combat the severely dry conditions that California is known for. According to the official California Drought website, “about 35 percent of the state is no longer experiencing drought.” Hopefully the continual rain will refresh SoCal and bring a healthy, green spring.
