Math help is out there

Don Lugo math teacher, Mr. Lee, provides the opportunity for students to raise their grade in math. Starting on December 6th, students interested in participating are required to go to tutoring after school for an hour for two days. Once they have completed tutoring, they are able to retake one test that they have previously received a low score on.

Anonymous student shows appreciation by saying, “I think its a really good opportunity because it gives kids like me the chance to bring their grade up.” Due to the end of the semester coming up many students are in desperate need of a boost in their grade. To some students, having this chance can not only help their grade but better their understanding of the course.

The teachers have made this possible because they want their students to succeed. The teachers are willing to sacrifice their time to help students triumph over math as so many students have failed in their math classes. Students will be able to meet in room 11 after school on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
