Rainbow Six Siege is dropping a major update called operation deadly omen with that there is a lot of new features being fixed and updated. One of the the items that will be removed is the 1.5 magnified scope which a lot of R6 players are upset due to the scope being taken out. In addition to removing the scope they will be adding a fixed version called the 1x scope as a part of the update.
A new major addition in this upcoming update is the addition of a new operator from the USA. His name will be DEIMOS, he will be an attacker operator. His ability will be to ‘deathmark’ players and track that players’ location with the deathmark. Another bug they buffing in the game is the laser which will increase ads by 15% and the angled grip will have a bonus of 20% reload speed bonus. In this update they will be balancing operators LMGs and drop the recoil of the weapon and the devs of Rainbow Six will be fixing the recoil to move slower 10%.
On top of that they will be adding a new versus A.I mode where the player can fight the A.I. in battle. Another update will be in the balistic shield focus where instead when operators like Blitz and Fuze having shields will be able to deploy throwables behind their shields. Adam Espinoza, senior, stated “I feel like that the 1.5 was a broken scope because everyone in the game will use it and not use any other scope”. Logan Palencia, senior, stated” I don’t think the scope should be removed because its simply just a scope maybe they should look into the weapon”.
