Camila is a senior and she is a second-year member of Quest News. She writes for the Opinion section. She enjoys writing commentary because it allows her to dive into other worlds outside her own. She attended California State University Northridge Journalism Day in the fall of 2020, and the Fall JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention 2020. A search of tax the rich appears on the Google search engine. Interest in the tax the rich slogan has spiked on Google ever since AOCs appearance at the Met Gala. Machismo plays apart of the mental health stigma surrounding the Hispanic community. Ive noticed that with my male cousins, uncles, etc, they arent allowed to express their emotions as much as females. Also, the majority of hispanics I know, many dont believe in mental illness. Many believe that dont exist because they never experineced it, says Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
