It has been officially announced that the San Diego Chargers will be moving to Los Angeles this year. The AFC West team played in Los Angeles one season in 1960 but the following year move to San Diego. The new home stadium for the team will be the 30,000 seat StubHub Center in Carson, California, a significantly smaller stadium then the 70,560 seat Qualcomm Stadium where the Chargers currently play.

Many fans are excited for the new change but, some just do not support it. Lugo Chargers fan, Andy Espinoza says, “ The Rams just arrived to Los Angeles, why are we going to bring another team.” He continues, “ Since I have been a fan, the Chargers have always been the ‘San Diego Chargers’ not the ‘LA Chargers’, it just does not feel the same.”

The team has come up with a new logo that resembles the Los Angeles Dodgers iconic LA logo ,but has not yet been approved by the NFL. The Chargers will slowly but surely become apart of Los Angeles.
