Don Lugo very own Sarah Aispuro  has officially committed to Concordia University in Nebraska. Her commitment to Concordia University is the first softball commitment of the year.  She has been playing since she was 4 years old and has a sincere passion for the game.

She verbally committed November 3, 2016 and officially signed November 9 of this year. Aispuro stated, “Throughout my years of playing softball, I never thought I was good enough to play the game at a higher level.” She went on to say, “I’m excited that my hard work has finally paid off and ready to start a new chapter in my life in college playing the sport that I love.”

She would like to thank her mom and her old coach, Javi Vasquez, for shaping her into the player she is today. Aispuro hopes she can preform at the high level of softball while studying Criminal justice. Since she knows she will be going against division one and two schools being that Concordia is a NAIA she stated “it’s all a little nerve racking, but I think I can do it.”

February 2, 2017 will be Don Lugo’s official signing day recognizing Sarah Aispuro and many other athletes who will be officially committing to attend and play their sport at a college level.
