Don Lugo Varsity girls Soccer defeats Pomona Catholic to a score of 1-0. The lady Q’s put up their best fight to defeat the Pacers and came out with a victory. The girls are now currently 3-0 in league hoping to gain a league champion title of the year.

Senior and Captain Alyssa Pedroza scored the goal the night of the game leading their team to victory. She stated, “Our defense was the best defense I’ve seen my team perform so far this year.” She went on to say, ” we went in the game scared, but once we saw we could keep up with them, we knew we had this game in the bag.”

Current coach, Coach Jess, stated commented, “The girls have been working really hard this year. I believe that they can come out on top with a league champion title because their defeating teams are higher than our division, so each win they receive will let many know they are hungry for it.”

The Lady Q’s will be playing the Chino Cowgirls on Thursday December 15 at 5:15  at Chino Highschool.
