On Sunday December 4th, Lugo’s own Tylia Dixon represented her home school in “Inland Empires Annual All Star Game”. That marked the first Don Lugo student to be represented in the “Inland Empire Annual All Star Game”. Dixon and 2 other playmates were selected from the Mt.Baldy league to participate in this memorable event.

Dixon finished the evening with 24 digs as well as 5 aces, but unfortunately it was not enough to take the win. The fifth set ended with the score of 27-25 versus the opposing “Team 2”, which was made up of more volleyball stars in the I.E. Tylia says “The experience was extremely humbling and an awesome game to be a part of, it was so nice to be surrounded with people who share the same passion for the game as I do”.

Dixon currently is sitting on four division two offers to continue her aspirations of volleyball.
