After 6 years of great anticipation, Rockstar has finally confirmed an upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption 2. The company uploaded the trailer for the video game earlier this week, creating huge talk among fans at Don Lugo. The trailer gives fans a clear look at the long anticipated project.

Red Dead Redemption rose to fame back in 2010, selling over 14 million copies since its release. Rumors and leaks regarding a sequel of the video game circulated the internet since 2013, though developers never confirmed anything. The sequel for the critically acclaimed franchise will be available for purchase in the Fall of 2017.

Red Dead Redemption fan, Alec Ortiz, comments, “I’ve been a fan since 6th grade, the single-player is amazing.” The game provides an open world action-adventure similar to games such as Grand Theft Auto and Minecraft. However, Ortiz concludes, “The graphics of Red Dead Redemption make it stand out from other video games and I love the western scenery, the hype is real.”
