Varsity’s top three football players were injured during a preseason game against Rancho Cucamonga High School. Two lineman, Chris Randazzo and Chris Torres, and starting quarterback, Rudy Garcia, are out due to injuries. Rudy Garcia is allegedly out for two-weeks due to a rolled ankle. Chris Randazzo had a minor ankle sprain but was quick to recover, and Chris Torres will unfortuantely be out for six-weeks due a fractured 5th metatarsal bone. With some of varsity’s top players injured, what does this mean for Milkcan?

Milkcan is the biggest rivalry game of the year. Chino’s current 3-1 record, is sure to add more intensity and draw anticipation for Don Lugo fans as Friday’s Milkcan approaches.  The reality that Lugo will enter the field without their key players is setting in fast. Coach Gano commented, “These three players are a great help to the team, and we’re going to have a tough time without them.”

Don Lugo Football’s coaching staff, as well as fans, are hoping for a speedy recovery, but those who have seen these athletes play know the Milkcan will be hard to win without them.
