The UC schools have received large sums of money to help support undocumented students trying to enter the UC system. As more spots are reserved for these undocumented students, there is less room for the legal students trying to enter into the University of California. The UC schools say that it will be more difficult for an undocumented student to repay loans, creating the need for more money to support them.

Illegal students hoping to gain an education in the UC system are promised over $25 million and may receive more money in the future.

Undocumented students and illegal immigrants will be receiving large sums of money from the University of California to help pay for college expenses. Students who were born in the United States and graduated from high school will not be receiving nearly as much financial support from the University of California. Undocumented students will be given a higher priority in acceptance as well as priority in choosing their classes.

Legal Students entering the UC system will not be receiving as much financial support as they normally would because the massive amount of undocumented students entering college. Some of the UC schools are claiming that $25 million is not enough money to fund the amount of support the illegal immigrants will need to attend and graduate. University of California President Janet Napolitano “must institutionalize funding for undocumented students to dispel any notion that the UC’s support for undocumented students is temporary.”
