Don Lugo’s MPR is getting remodeled in response to the cracks and damages to the floor of the building. The remodeling began last week and is planned to take around six weeks to complete. At the moment, the MPR is not usable until the remodeling is complete.

Originally, only cracks in the floor were to be patched; however, bubbles began to form creating a liability for the school. The whole floor is currently being removed and plans of what to replace it with are still being decided. “There is talk of perhaps putting carpet in,” stated Mr. Ashby. “There is also talk of perhaps using concrete to replace the floor.”

It is not completely clear what will replace the MPR floor but, “It’s going to be an upgrade,” affirmed Mr. Ashby.
