Lugo Disagrees with America
March 4, 2016
On Tuesday March 1, a short survey conducted amongst Don Lugo students, show that they do not agree with America.
Super Tuesday is the day where a large majority of the states cast their official votes for the Republican and Democratic presidential nominee. Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton have a huge lead against their competitors. Four Don Lugo senior classes were surveyed and the results show that the average senior would rather vote for any other candidate than Trump or Clinton.
Out of a total of 86 students, only 8 students voted for Donald Trump while 14 voted for Hilary Clinton. The remaining 64 students said that they would rather vote for someone else, which leaves a young and impressionable senior class with strong contending candidates such as Ted Cruz (Republican) and Bernie Sanders (Democrat). America has casted a large majority of their votes to Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton according to recent CNN polls as they go into Super Tuesday, however it is obvious that Don Lugo does not prefer either candidate.
