Halloween Horror Nights Over Knott’s Scary Farm
For years these two parks have held the go to events for the Halloween season. Both Knott’s Scary Farm and Halloween Horror Nights have been attended by many of our Don Lugo students, however Halloween Horror Nights took the ultimate lead. From their spine-chilling mazes to horrific characters coming to life, Universal Studios is definitely the place to be this time of year.

Halloween is now right around the corner and just as October arrives, so do the Halloween events at many amusement parks near us. Two of the most popular are Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights and Knott’s Scary Farm. But which one will Don Lugo’s students be attending more this year?
Having to choose between the two parks may be a difficult task for some people, but so far the majority of Don Lugo students seemed to have favored Halloween Horror Nights a lot more. “Knott’s Berry Farm was just an overall waste of money, I was not scared even once,” shared class of 2017’s Patricia Xayasone. And this opinion became more of a trend when it came to comparing the two parks.
“If I’m spending money to go to a Halloween event, I’m expecting to feel horrified as I’m in there and that’s exactly what I felt from Halloween Horror Nights,” said Senior Vincent Poteet. As we approach the 31st of October and this debate continues, we hope Knott’s Scary Farm redeems itself and shows Don Lugo how scary they can make their park.
