It’s a well known fact that most seniors don’t know what they’re doing after graduation. It’s admirable when an 18 year old person knows what they want to do for the rest of their lives. As the cliché statement goes, the world really is at our fingertips.

The end of high school really is a very important chapter in all our live. It’s where our ambition is born and where we strive to be the best we can be out in the “real world”. We make a lot of decisions in this 6 year window that can make or break our careers when we get older.

Most high school students haven’t found what they love yet, most of us have just done what we need to do to get through high school and we most of us just worry about what’s right in front of us. Some of us, though, know exactly what we want to do after high school and are already taking steps in the right direction to start a career. That’s what interests me; majors change, classes change, people change, but what do you want to do for the rest of your life at age 18?

Greg Leon knows exactly what he wants to do with his life and he is already in progress. “I’ve known that I’ve wanted to be a firefighter for a long time, it’s been a dream of mine..” Greg is enrolled in a Fire Science at Mt. San Antonio College as well as Fire P.E. He is very excited to get his career started and starts school in June just after we graduate.

Adriana Badios is going to West Cost University and starting classes on August 22nd to become a nurse. She will be studying Anonymity and Communications in pursuit of her life long dreams of working in the NICU. (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) She is already enrolled in the school and is very excited to start her career shortly after she graduates.
