Lisa Frankenstein is Out!

Still of the opening title of the new Lisa Frankenstein.

A new coming of age movie filled with 80’s romance that is PG-13 is in theaters right now as we speak. I haven’t seen this movie, but it looks really interesting to me. Some of my thoughts of the trailer are that there are many unique outfits and characters in the scenes and it is doing a good job at selling it to the teen audience.

The reason this movie is so popular is because it has many important themes that can still be relevant today and an exciting soundtrack, including the music that plays in the trailer. In the trailer, we see a zombie-like character, portrayed by Cole Sprouse, that seems to rise from the dead by a rebel-like teenage girl played by Kathryn Newton. We can tell the characters are going to have intriguing lore, because in some scenes of the trailer she talks about her relationship with her deceased mother and how her life was in the past, insinuating this will be a main plot point throughout the film.

Many of the students at Don Lugo have heard about or seen this movie in theaters or on their phones. Some students say this movie is very interesting, has a unique plot, and is well worth the watch. In summary, the trailer highlights the charming and darkly humorous aspects of the film, so if you enjoy horror movies or like coming of age movies you may want to watch Lisa Frankenstein in theaters while you still can!
