Winter is coming

The first snow falls are dropping in the San Bernardino Mountains. As winter approaches and the temperature drops the mountains are getting their first layers of snow. These mountains go through an icy transition that is beloved by the entire city. A fellow student, Abby Garcia bubbled “It’s beautiful seeing the seasons change. I feel at peace”

As the first snow falls, we reminisce on warming up by the fire place with a cup of hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies. Even though Chino doesn’t get much snow, the San Bernardino mountains receive up to twenty nine inches of snow per year.  With Winter quickly approaching and the weather starting to change, it’s time to embrace that snow fall up on the San Bernardino mountains. Perfect for hiking and skiing, these mountains go through an icy transition that is beloved by all strides of life in the city of Chino.
