Senior announcements for college and activities

Class of 2017 events and activities have changed. With AP Announcements monopolizing the loud speaker, seniors should keep checking Twitter, sign up for Remind 101 alerts, and be aware of activities that are coming up and dates changing.

Any college bound seniors must request a final transcript from the Records Office to be sent to your college. Failure to request a transcript can result in losing your college admission. On another note, the Universal Studios trip is still in effect this Thursday, May 25. There are only 10 tickets left.

For seniors attending Chaffey College for the fall term, help can be found in registering for your classes in the career center. If you missed the early application period for any JC and need help with your FAFSA application, stop by the career center. The FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form, allows prospective college students to receive financial aid to help them attend college.

Senior sunset is now movie night and will take place after senior dinner at the football field. Senior dinner will be in the MPR on Tuesday, May 23rd at 5 o’clock. The dinner will include Hawaiian BBQ, Kona shaved ice, and Polynesian dancers. If seniors bring there acceptance letters into the counseling office, you may get your own personal pendent on the wall.
