Don Lugo’s football captain and lineman, Trevor Goulet, accepted a full ride scholarship to Trinity International University in Chicago, Illinois to become a Trojan. The football standout committed late last week in Dr. Cabrera’s office alongside his family. Goulet will be attending this University in hopes of a bright future along with furthering his football career.

Trinity College was one of many schools trying to recruit Goulet, but the decision was ultimately made by him visiting the college and seeing the “relationships between the players and coaches”. The lineman will be receiving a 23,000 dollar scholarship for football and a 5,000 dollar incentive.

The Center and Guard has been playing football since the age of 7. Starting off at Chino High School and ending at Lugo, Goulet comments,” I wanted to go to a place that was building themselves up.” Adding on, ” I’ve been here for the past two and half years and it’s just home for me now.” Lugo’s football coaches are said to be a huge factor in getting him many offers and opportunities.

Lugo staff and students congratulate Trevor Goulet and wish him the best of luck on the journey to his future.
