Kanye West suffered a mental breakdown during his mid-tour show in Sacramento with a crowd of 13,000 people. As a huge Kanye enthusiast, seeing his mental breakdown hit social media and expose his mental needs was heartbreaking. I believe that the world should give Kanye a break from all the hate he receives.

This time around is tough for the visionary musician, as he lost his mother Donda West during his successful music career. People should really consider his emotions that he goes through. Imagine losing the only person that has sacrificed everything for you.

We need to put ourselves in Kanye’s shoes and consider the reality of dealing with psychological problems. People expect so much from this multi-platinum artist but really don’t consider how Kanye feels. Thirty minutes into Kanye’s Sacramento show, he went on a rant that discussed celebrities from Hilary Clinton to Beyonce.

I strongly believe that Kim Kardashian’s dramatic robbery was the cause of this whole mayhem. Kanye being the protective husband that he is, would expect his “real friends” like Jay Z and Beyonce to reach out and offer their concern for Kim, but they didn’t. I get where Kanye is coming from because friends are suppose to stick with each other through thick and thin, not leave one another when ones in need.

Even as a fan, I didn’t think it was far of him cancelling his tour without any apology or some sort of explanation. Millions of fans that we’re going to the show, including me, were in tears knowing that they won’t be seeing their idol on stage. ” I think it was really unprofessional and immature of Kanye to cancel his tour, he did not just let me down, he let all of his fans that were planning on seeing him down,” states ex fan, Adoniah King.

Although Kanye cancelled the rest of his tour, I know his fans will continue to respect and pray for the rapper as we all wish for him to get better. Jessica Torres expresses, “At first I didn’t think it was fair of him to cancel on all of his fans but after giving it further thought I realized Kanye was going through something serious and that his well being is way more important than any shows.” Kanye West is the artist of our generation that pushes the limits and creates stuff that is out of his comfort zone, we all know his comeback will be stronger than ever.
