Nintendo switches to better consoles
October 29, 2016
Nintendo unveiled their upcoming console in a release trailer, endowing fans with information and hype about the Nintendo Switch. After the Wii U’s failure in exceedingly low profits, the Nintendo Switch is an apparent attempt to redeem the company name in providing quality consoles. Don Lugo students over the years have lost interest in coming Nintendo products, yet the Switch is switching the way people look at the company.
The Nintendo Switch is going to be a home console as well as a mobile console, meaning users can take the console everywhere they want. The switch can be put into a dock to play on the TV, and when in mobile form the player uses the controllers on the sides. The controllers are mounted on the side of the Switch and can be taken off to use them as separate controllers.
Nintendo has not confirmed what games will be playable on the Switch, but according to the trailer, it is expected that many non-Nintendo games will be playable, such as Skyrim. Nintendo has released that they will be supporting the unreal gaming engine. The Nintendo Switch is to be released in March 2017, and the price is to be announced this coming January.
