The Don Lugo family has come together for many years now to help support Loma Linda hospital in their annual blood drive that they host with the help of leadership students.

This event, that took place on November 17, will help the lives of many people and infants. With this program they provide hope for future families and for their loved ones to be given a second chance. The heart of this program is to pump out as much blood as possible to save the lives of those in dire need.

The donated blood can save the lives of 3 adults or 8 infants per pint. Blood is a vital necessity in every hospital and operating rooms during surgeries. One of the phlembotomists said,”We really appreciate all these kids coming and donating blood. One pint can go a long way.”
