Don Lugos Winterline received First Place at the AB Miller High School Winterline Competition on April 6th, 2017. This is the first time in Lugos history that their Winterline group has ever accomplished this high of an honor. The Don Antonio Lugo Drumline is preparing for their upcoming Winterline performances, titled, Red. This debut is a dark twist on The Little Red Riding Hood. The show consists of Chapters, much like a story book and the Drumline Instructional Team is currently in the process of creating the choreography and music for the pieces.

A Christmas Scarol was another hit performance by the Don Antonio Lugo Theater department. With a mixed Christmas and post-Halloween ambiance, the show made way for a real twist on the original A Christmas Carol. Although the performers only had two weeks to prepare, the show was, nonetheless, a success and the DAL student body are anticipating for more.
