Due to a leaked video of the German Shepherd, Hercules, struggling to comply with his trainer, the A Dogs Purpose premiere will be cancelled.  Although, the film will still air nationwide on January 2017- as planned. The company regarded on the day the clip was exposed online, “there were several days of rehearsal of the water scenes to ensure Hercules was comfortable with all of the stunts-on the day of the shoot, Hercules did not want to perform the stunt portrayed on the tape so the Amblin production team did not proceed with filming that shot.”
