Charmin Carr dies at age 73

Charmin Carr, better known as Liesl Von Trapp, from The Sound of Music, passed away September 17,2016. Best known for her role in the sound of music, The 73 year old died due to complications from a rare form of brain disease.Carr spent her last few days at a private care facility in Woodland Hills, California.

Charmain’s death was caused by a certain form of dementia. The exact form of dementia is unknown to the public yet still devastating. Carr’s co-star from The Sound of Music Kym Karath took the matter to twitter to share the devastating news,”It is with infinite sadness that I share the tragic news that the precious & exquisite Charmin Carr, beautiful Leisl, has passed.”

As being the ambassador for The Rodgers and Hammerstein program, she has shined a lot of light on many people.  The shocking news took one of Don Lugo’s very own students by surprise. Isaiah Ruiz says, “My heart is so broken from her death I will never forget the first time I ever heard her sing 16 going on 17.”
