If you have any free time during the Christmas break, bring family or friends or both and visit one of these places that all involve the most wonderful lights. Spend time with those you love, create special memories, and take cute pictures. Get all this with an affordable price along within LA, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties

                                  Riverside County

Mission Inn lights

  • The festival lights are located at 3649 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA. The street is decorated with lights along with the hotel designed with the beautiful lights and the giant nutcrackers in front of the building. Seeing Santa Clause is accessible as well as going to the largest man made mistletoe. The Christmas tree will be shown in the hotel. Admission is free and make sure to come before it gets dark for good parking and it starts when the sun goes down.

                                  LA County

Downtown LA walking tour

  • The tour will be held at 800 N. Alameda St. Downtown Los Angeles, CA. Get in the holiday spirit and and go to the tour to see all the wonderful lights as well as the one of the most creative decorations. The tour will start off with the Nutcracker village all the way to the end. Mind you, this is a walking tour that does take up to 2 hours which is worth it for the beautiful sightings. If the tour gets a little tiring then take a break at the playground which is a warm setting till the sun rises. Celebrate the holidays with amazing lights and family at the tour. The tours can start up to 6:30pm with no ending. Better hurry and get the tickets since it will end in December 28th. Admission for the tours will be $17 for the adults, $5 from ages 5 to 12, and kids under 4 are free.

LA Zoo lights

  • The zoo is located at 5333 Zoo Dr. Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA. When most of the animals are ready to sleep, that means it’s time for the lights to go on. If you want to sight a reindeer then arrive at 10am to 4pm. The lights will go on at 6pm to 10pm and there will be different areas to visit in the zoo that all show lights, but each will have a theme tied to it. This event will not end till January 6th which gives enough time to get tickets and go. Admission will be around $11.95 to $16.95 and kids that are 2 and under are free.

The Grove

  • The shopping center is located at 189 The Grove Dr. Beverly Grove, Los Angeles, CA. Usually shopping centers are just decorated with lights, but this center has it all. Have a chance to visit Santa at his gingerbread workshop, see the amazing lights throughout the shopping center, and take some time to see the show that involves the largest Christmas tree in the background. The event will start at 7pm and again at 8pm to present the snowfall show. Admission is free, but hurry with the family and go because is ends on Christmas day.

                                  San Bernardino County

Chino Hills Shoppes

  • The shopping center is located at 13920 City Center Dr, Chino Hills, CA. The Shoppes have beautiful lights at night with the the Christmas tree that is decorated with amazing lights and the shining star on top. Take some photos with Santa till Christmas eve from 11am to 8pm. Admission is free to get in, but you might want to carry money to take photos with Santa.

Montclair Plaza

  • The shopping center is located at 5060 East Montclair Plaza Lane, Montclair, CA. Not only are you able to visit Santa with a photo but go see the winter lights in the plaza. The winter lights show starting at 5pm and this event will not end till January 6th. If you plan on taking photos with Santa, he will be available from 11am to 8pm. Also be prepared bring money for pictures.

Victoria Gardens

  • The shopping center is located at 12505 N Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. If you are into the Christmas carolers then come to the shopping center any day before the 23rd from 4pm to 7pm. The shopping center will have beautiful lights at night and gives enough time to see Santa anytime before Christmas Eve from 11am to 7pm. Pictures will have a cost so bring money but to get in the shopping center is free.
